Are looking to recruit POD / Admin Clerk
Working in a busy traffic office the Pod Clerk is responsible for capturing and processing all the POD documents and associated paperwork returned by the drivers at the end of the working day. This essential role in our business requires an attention to detail and an organised approach to work, good communication and organisational skills are essential, as is an ability to work unsupervised within a challenging and fast moving environment.
Enter any unfinished jobs onto Palletways system & print labels
Filing of check sheets / driver documents
Ensure all delivery / collection notes are received from drivers
Ensure all collections are complete and the traffic system updated
Scan all POD onto Palletways / traffic system
General admin duties
Supervisory experience in dealing with Drivers
Organised with an attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent I.T. skills
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a changing environment.
Hours of Work
5pm – 9pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary will be based on the individual’s experience
The successful candidate will report to the Customer Services Manager / Depot Manager

Trainee – Transport / Customer Service Position

We are looking to recruit a Trainee to join our growing Transport Customer Service team. The successful candidate will liaise directly between our Customers and our Traffic and Sales departments to ensure that enquiries and bookings are managed efficiently and effectively. We are a very busy Transport company and have an extensive UK/ROI Customer Portfolio. The successful candidate will receive full and on-going training alongside a small but experienced team.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities – Including but not limited to:
Respond promptly to Customers enquiries
Customer Booking and Processing
Job Input onto a range of Computer systems
Provide collection and delivery information
Liaison with Traffic & Sales teams
Ensuring that Customers expectations and continuously met and exceeded
As a trainee, the successful candidate does not need to have experience in either a customer service or Transport role as full training will be provided. The applicant must have a good work ethic, be able to cope well under pressure and be prepared to work as part of a busy team.
Hours of Work
0900 – 1800 Mon – Friday with Saturday Cover (1 in 5) between 0800 – 1200.
